  • Served as President-Elect of the Mid Atlantic Region of the American Music Therapy Association.

  • Took part in the Treatment Not Trauma workgroup.

  • Mentored high school students and college students interested in music therapy careers.

  • Shared information about music therapy and music therapy careers at community events including Rep Fiedler’s Health Fair, Rep. Roebuck’s Health Fair, and The Franklin Institute’s Science Night.

  • Organized a Series of concerts to benefit the Black Music Therapy Network.

  • Organized a community concert to benefit Pennsylvania’s incarcerated population.

  • Organized a multicultural community art, poetry, music workshop to benefit the Nationalities Services Center.

  • Organized a benefit concert for funeral costs and to raise awareness about Mental Illness and Addiction. 

  • Co-organized annual community building music festivals in West Philadelphia.

  • Organized a benefit concert for families of Firefighters lost on September 11th.

  • Organized a benefit concert for a 2-year-old cancer patient.            

  • Organized a benefit concert for a Bosnian Refugee Family.

  • Planned and provided holiday caroling for Seashore House and for Adult Cancer patients.   

  • Regularly performed in, schools, nursing homes and Senior’s centers.  

  • Performed at over 50 concerts benefitting social organizations and individuals in need.
